Week 1 homework
Jon bellion "carry your throne"
The beginning of the music video shows multiple camera angles focusing on different things and flashing quickly to build up to the start of the actual song itself. After that there is a front facing camera angle that focuses on the artist which can show that he is promoting himself as an artist. There are many camera angles where the camera is panning around an object or a person including the artist himself. One of the panning angles shows two people showing there love to each other by hugging while the camera is panning around them showing both of their faces. There are also many angles where the camera is zooming gradually out or as they are called long shots which can show a bigger picture to the view of the surroundings in the music video. Near the end of the song the zooming out angle can be seen as the couple are in the middle and as it zooms out the two army's meet.
The reason for the different camera flashing's at the start is maybe to build up to the start of the song and also goes with the sounds that they have at the start. This can be used to build suspense. The front facing shots are there to focus on an object or the artist or particular person. The front facing shot is also a low angle shot as it is filming looking from the ground up. The panning shots can be used to get 360 coverage of the area around the object or person or just even pans around the object itself. It can give a bigger picture of whats around the area. The long shots can be used to also give a wider view of the surrounding area in the video which looks really good in this music video as you can see the sun and the two army's meeting as it gradually zooms out.
